Meade County Baptist Temple supports missionaries all over the world. We don't support them through a collective effort of some massive organization of churches that may not be like-minded. Rather, we send our financial support directly to the missionaries themselves. Every cent that is given in our missions program goes to the missionaries that we support. Nothing is taken to pay for "administrative costs" which greatly reduce what the missionary on the field receives. The missionaries we support are like-minded, they believe like we believe, and they believe and use the 1611 King James Bible, just as we do.
We firmly believe that missionaries are NOT second class ministers who couldn't make it in a "real" church. Rather, they are among the finest men and women of God there are, and as such, they ought to receive first class treatment. And we give our missionaries the best we can provide when they come to visit us, and continue to support them as best as we possibly can when they are on the field, reaching people for the Lord that we could never hope to reach if it were not for the dedication and great sacrifices of these devoted servants of God!
